Be prepared to be indulged, pampered and spoilt by Helen & Peter. They put their hearts into running their boutique bnb with it's well appointed rooms and it's all in the little details. Helen and Peter made our experience special right from the communication, welcoming us like old friends and anticipating our needs. We arrived as guests at the B&B and left as friends and advocates for their beautiful place. We highly recommend this listing and hosts to other airbnb guests ~ you will not be disappointed.

This was a great place to spend a couple of days and Helen and Peter were very welcoming. The apt (front of house) was perfect with a very comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Lounge with an open fire was idyllic. The breakfast spread also top quality. I will be back for another weekend soon and once word gets out about this BnB in the Kyabram area then I suggest, book in early to stay at this wonderful cottage.

We arrived a little bit late but Helen and Peter were wonderfully warm and receptive (offering a cup of tea which we didn't take up). Our 18mth old was quick to grab his toy cars and get playing > feeling immediately at home in this beautiful, clean B&B. 

Comfortable beds, heating, fireplace, plethora of teas and coffee and food bits, yummy breakfast, 3 playgrounds across the street, beautiful garden and even new bath toys!

Helen and Peter were open, talking about their family and travels and making dinner reservations for us each night with accompanying directions to any of our activities. 

The place is nice and quiet, very nicely decorated and only 2.5 hours from Melbourne which was perfect for us with a toddler.

We were greeted by Helen with a cheerful smile and a pot of tea (and hot cross buns for easter!). It was wonderfully relaxing to spend the afternoon in the front garden. The house is incredibly equipped and comfortable. Helen and Peter anticipated our every need, very considerate and thoughtful. The only bad thing about our stay, was that we were only there for one night :)

Without a doubt this is the best airbnb we have stayed in. From the minute we arrived, met by Helen and offered a cup of tea on the sunny lawn to the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble and the facilities really were excellent. The cottage is cosy, well equipped and the breakfast and other provisions were more than generous. Beautifully presented property with all mod cons, convenience and comfort. Will definitely be back for another stay in the near future.

Peter greeted us warmly and showed us around the house and garden. We enjoyed our stay, were provided with a beaut breakfast and were made to feel at home. Helen and Peter were very keen to make sure that we were looked after. An excellent location and easy to access the local hotels and restaurants for meals.

My friend and I loved Haslem Cottage, and cannot speak too highly of it. The attention to detail is amazing, and I cannot imagine any other details that have been missed. The breakfast provided was delightful, and when I asked about eggs, I was given some to cook in the outdoor kitchen. Our hosts went to a lot of extra effort to accommodate my gluten-free dietary needs - and then gave me the balance of the specially-bought loaf of gf bread! We didn't meet Helen as she was away for the night, but Peter looked after us very well, and suggested things we might like to see and do. We took up the suggestion of visiting the exhibition of Victorian and Edwardian clothing at the former town hall, and found it fascinating. 
We are separately planning to return later this year, with family members, and are looking forward to staying here again, and to exploring more of the district (including Echuca, a short drive away). Thank you both for a wonderful experience.

Helen and Peter were perfect hosts and we fell in love with Haslem Cottage! From the moment we arrived we felt more than at home, and our stay was better than we could have ever ask for! The cottage is beautifully styled with a personal touch in every room, the beds so comfy some days we didn't want to get out of them! Every morning an amazing fresh breakfast was waiting for us when we woke -fresh fruit, pasteries, bacon and eggs even extra coco pops! Nothing was too much hassel for Helen, her and Peter had great idea's of things to do in the area. I couldn't fault our stay at Haslem cottage and we would highly recommend it to anyone of any age with my sisters and I in our early 20's and we loved our time there, We will definitely be back for another stay!

A short stay at Haslem Cottage was the perfect way to welcome in the New Year. We were warmly welcomed by Helen & Peter on our arrival and immediately felt relaxed and at home. Our stay was very comfortable, and Helen could not have done more for us to make our stay more comfortable. With the lovely gardens in the front of the cottage, one can relax with a book or just sit and enjoy the activity of the birds in the garden. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and it was the best B and B experience that we have ever had. 
Everything was provided to make our stay really enjoyable.

My wife and I and our 5 month baby stayed at Haslem cottage. Helen had everything we could want ready for the baby and we really appreciated it. When we visited it was a hot weekend and the cottage was cool, quiet and very comfortable.

Kathy and I stayed at Haslem House for 5 nights. It was a magnificent place to stay, spacious quiet and very well kept. The space consisted of two large bedrooms, bathroom and a lounge / dining area with an open fire and all was completely separate from the rest of the house. 
Peter and Helen were so warm, friendly and helpful it felt like staying with your very favourite relatives. It is close to Echuca but far enough away to be blissfully quiet. Peter and Helen have renovated and decorated the house to the highest standard, beautiful polished boards, soft beds and toasty warm central heating. It is just such a very nice place to be it was hard to come home. Lots to see and do in the area and great hosts so I couldn't recommend it high enough.
